Taking the dog for a walk

THE HAPPY HOUNDS STORY

A Real Passion for Animals

Originally operating from Greasby and ran by Barry and Holly the small company gathered a lot of interest from pet owners near and far and their success was afforded to them from their wonderful clients whose pets received the very best level of service.

Due to the quick success the company moved to a new larger premises in 2016.  2017 the company became limited and increased not only in number of dogs attending daycare but also took on several more members of staff.

Bethany Richmond is our Senior manager, with her help we are now a 5* licensed and multi award-winning Doggy Daycare and training academy.

Bethany is responsible for leading and developing a passionate and committed team to ensure top quality care and welfare of the animals.

She is incredible at her job.  Everyone loves her, dogs and people and she has the biggest heart of anyone I know.

Bethany attended Reaseheath College where she attained a Level 3 Diploma in animal management and a 2:1 in Zooology at Liverpool John Moores University - she truly is a clever cookie.

Our company Daycare Supervisor - Tom Moreton's knowledge has grown exponentially, everyone comments on how lovely he is and how at ease they feel knowing he is caring for their beloved pooch.

Jack Latham is our Assistant Canine Trainer, we were blown away when we witnessed the incredible relationship Jack is able to adopt with all the dogs he comes into contact with.  Jack is currently training to be sniffer dog coach and his ability is second to none.  Jack is a PPG, HHTA dog trainer and a trainee member of the IMDT.

Happy Hounds provide daycare, home boarding and training and has set up in a new location for home boarding. Barry Harris moved to Hope, Wrexham 18 months ago providing a more superior home boarding service on his 101 acre farm.  Barry offers drop off and collection weekdays from Happy Hounds Daycare in Moreton.

We all can’t wait to meet your furry friend, I’m sure we’ll get along swimmingly.
